Trumpet Strumpet
Elisha is playing Damien Rice's "Blower's Daughter."
Chorus: "Can't take my eyes off of you..."
Coryn: He should try harder.
Me: (emphatically) That's not the point!
Coryn: I didn't hear anything you just said - I just heard "bah-bah-bah!"
Elisha: Yeah, 'cause Limmy is a trumpet.
Coryn: She's not a trumpet. Maybe she's a strumpet!
Elisha laughs and I protest. Then I remember -
Me: I've acted as a strumpet before.
Coryn and Elisha: ...what?!
Me: We were reading "Othello" for class, and I was someone's strumpet. Bianca.
